Fall Book Sale (FOAL Members)

FOAL is excited to host our first community book sale since Fall 2019!
The sale will take place in the Auditorium of Central Library on the following dates and times.
- Friday October 22, 10 am to 7pm (FOAL members only all day long). Sign up here to become a FOAL member or to renew your membership. Proof of membership is required for entry, we’ll have our list, but it will be faster if you print off a membership card from the FOAL Members Website.
- Saturday October 23, 10 am to 7pm (open to public)
- Sunday October 24, 11 am to 6 pm (open to public, half price day)
The Book Sale will be held in the Auditorium at Central Library at 1015 N Quincy Street in Arlington. Because this is a smaller space than the usual upper floor garage, there will be a capacity limit for guests. We will also have a smaller inventory of books.
Masks will be required by all visitors.
There will be a separate meeting room in the library for sales of children’s books.
Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted as usual.
Teachers with a school ID receive a 50% discount on book purchases on Saturday (and on Friday if they are Members). Everyone receives 50% off on Sunday.
Because of space limitations, sale patrons will be strictly limited to 2 boxes each visit. You must carry or move books with you as you shop, and are not permitted to pile or sort books. Also, because of the smaller capacity of the auditorium, we ask patrons to limit shopping to one hour.
