The March 26-29 Books Sale Is Being Postponed Due to COVID-19

Out of an abundance of caution, the Board of the Friends of the Arlington Library has decided to postpone the March 26-29, 2020 book sale. While this is our largest fundraiser, it is a very crowded venue, and given the current CDC guidelines “to keep space between yourself and others” and to “avoid crowds”, we have decided to postpone the sale.

We are exploring options such as a summer book sale, and have already announced our fall sale dates of October 22-25, 2020.

We are also rotating the stock in our bookstores located in every branch library (except Aurora Hills which is closed for construction) and hope you will come shop the bookstores when you are looking for new books to read.

  1. I’m sad but this is definitely the right decision. See y’all in October (or hopefully sooner!)
